Cassette tapes for recording conversations

We'll need a cassette tape for recording conversations in class. A 90-minute tape should be long enough. Label your cassette and cassette index like the examples below. Be sure to write your class, your name, and your student ID# on both the cassette and the liner.

After listening to your tape and doing follow-up activities, leave the tape at the END of the conversation! You should also try to leave 5 seconds of silence between your conversations.

Also, make sure that each time you record a conversation that you write 1) the date, 2) the topic, and 3) your conversation partner's name.

Please remember your cassette tape on recording days! If you're not sure about when you are recording, check the course schedule or ask your teacher. It's much better to have all your recordings on one tape so you can review them at the end of the year. Good luck. I hope you enjoy recording your conversations.
